Help me take on the World's Coolest Readathon!

Help me support the mental health of Australian Heroes

I am participating in The World's Coolest Readathon by reading at least 5 books in 30 days between the 1st and 30th of September!

All money raised goes toward the mental health charity 'Brothers and Books', whose programs support our Australian Defence Force soldiers, Veterans and emergency services.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal! Sign up yourself to read some great books and support a brilliant cause!

My Updates

Day Six.

Saturday 7th Sep
“Why Fish Don’t Exist” aka book number two is done and dusted.

“Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania” by Erik Larson is my third book, and I am about 40 per cent of the way through. This is a brilliant read, and tells a tale that was totally new to me. The more you know huh?

Days Four and Five

Thursday 5th Sep
A two for one update!

Yesterday I finished book one, Steinbecks magnum opus, “East Of Eden”. Highly recommended!

Today I delved in to “Why Fish Don’t Exist” by Lulu Miller. A complete change of pace, but I am digging it so far.

We shall see if I can get it done and dusted by tomorrow.

Onwards!

Day Three…

Tuesday 3rd Sep
80 per cent of the way through “East Of Eden”. What an epic! Really enjoying this yarn a whole bunch.

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of team JB and #TWGR @brothersandbooks initiative.

We will likely finish book 1 tomorrow.

Day Two

Monday 2nd Sep
Day two finds us pretty much half way through my first book, Steinbecks “East Of Eden”. It’s a classic for good reason. An epic tale.

Thanks to all who have generously supported the cause.

And once again, if you feel inclined. You can donate/sponsor by following the link.

Forwards!

Day One.

Sunday 1st Sep
A little over a quarter of the way through East Of Eden by John Steinbeck. So far, so good. Thanks a million to everyone who has been so generous with their support. You lovely bunch of humans. We shall see how Day 2 pans out. Update tomorrow. #TWGR

And so we begin.

Friday 30th Aug
Thanks to all you lovely folks who have come on-board for this fund-raiser. I reckon it’s a good cause. Seems that you all do too.

I am just finalising the books I am going to read for the challenge.

You can watch this space, or check my socials for updates.

Now, I’m off to find my Mr Men books and Dr Seuss.

Thanks legends!
