Finished: Lucifer's Daughter

Three and a half stars and two little chillies. I really wish there was more to this one. It’s a great start to the series. It introduces the characters really well and leaves you wanting more. It took me a bit to get used to the narrator - something fairly standard for me with new audio narration. But I’m going to put the next #audiobook on my TBR and find out what happens next to Ruby, the next Queen of the Damned.

Three Days in Undead Shoes by Dee J Holmes

Friday 30th Aug
And my fifth book for TWCR is Three Days in Undead Shoes by Dee J Holmes. It had me at “…slow burn zombie romance” and I cannot wait. This was a grab during a Stuff Your Kindle Day. I have gotten some wonderful books and found some great authors this way so if you’re fortunate enough to own a kindle or other e-reader, I recommend looking into similar deals.

A Gallery of Poisoners by Adrian Vincent

Friday 30th Aug
A Gallery of Poisoners is the second audiobook I’ll be listening to in for #TWCR. I’ve been scouring my TBR on Audible for a week trying to decide what book I wanted to read and this one kept pulling my eye.

Lucifer's Daughter by Kel Carpenter

Friday 23rd Aug
cifer’s Daughter by Kel Carpenter will be the third book I read in September for TWCR. It is downloaded and ready to go on audible.

Horns by Joe Hill

Saturday 17th Aug
Horns by Joe Hill will be the second book I’ll be reading for #TWCR. I’ve seen the movie and owned the book for a while but never got around to reading it. I read Heart-Shaped Box many years ago and it was great.

Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole

Friday 16th Aug
The first book I'll be reading for TWCR is Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole. The cover of this book is absolutely gorgeous and I immediately fell in love with it when I saw it at The First Chapter Bookshop in Adelaide, SA.
